The SEO Guy approach to Search Engine Optimization Consulting

It is my belief that search engine optimization should be practiced hand in hand with education of both the community and the client. I never hide or covet my secrets, I share them with whoever is interested in learning, as can be seen by the ever-growing membership base at my new SEO Forum. Sharing my SEO knowledge is something I pride myself on and it is my belief that the best way to establish new positive SEO relationships is through proof of knowledge and demonstrated understanding of complex algorithmic functions.

SEO References & Accolades

When someone asks me for a reference, I don't need to send them a pre-packaged letter that I prompted a client to produce, or send them to someone who I know will give me a good reference. I simply say this:

"Go to any webmaster forum with a professional membership of search engine consultants and ask for a reference, or better yet, don't even mention my name. Simply post I am looking to hire a great SEO Consultant, an SEO God! Can you recommend someone?" if the name SEO Guy doesn't come up, you aren't at a very good forum :-) Don't worry, it will.

I get more business from referrals than from anywhere else. In fact, I do not even advertise my SEO services. Every single one of my SEO contracts has contacted me because of a post they had seen in a forum, a referral, an article they had read or because they simply typed in "SEO Expert" and guess who was #1? Testing new search engine algorithms

One of my many strengths is my ability to learn and adapt to changes in the search engine ebb and flow. I am constantly testing aspects of search engine weight criteria and the effects of different onpage and offpage SERP (search engine result page) determining characteristics. Recently I have developed SEO Tests so that aspiring webmasters can get a glimpse of how logic is applied by an SEO consultant to unique ranking situations.
