was wondering if joining an affiliate program would help boost the links to my site? I realize that most affiliate companies dont have very good page rank webs posting my ads, but i would guess the link is still worth somthing?
i am looking at CJ.com or shareasale.com

No joining an affiliate program will not help your links, why would it? At best your going to be linking to them, not the other way around, and thats generally with a link that has an appended session ID to identify your affiliate code, thus no PR or backlink credit

Ah well still, what you would have to do is have tracking on the URL's so thats a no go, but it does make a good segway, you tell your affiliates you will help them get sales and exposure by listing them on your site and they just have to give a text link back. Would work out id say

good idea, that would make the best of the situation.
