I'm toying with the idea of rapidly deploying threads on about 3,000 topics with perhaps some about as many sub-threads etc...

The goal naturally are for people to eventually use them but if not can assist in linking.

Had anyone ever done this out there?

Is it a crazy idea?

and which message board program out there lends itself best to spidering?

Thanks

I am toying with the idea of sending out millions of emails trying to sell v|@gra and C@/is.

In other words, the idea you're toying with is SPAM.

Hardly... If you sell ant farms and there is not a message board about ant farms where ant farm enthusiasts can gather or you can build a better forum for them to gather then I hardly think that is SPAM.

The pages are also not spam since they serve a legitimate purpose and any resulting community that grows from that initial seed would not be SPAM either.

I would hesitate to quickly decide what SPAM is such as your companies name at the bottom of your posting. Obviously an unsolicited email is SPAM but a page rich in content is not.

This does sound like you want to do this overnight. I understand Arizona Web answer.
Are you making a message board or making a website with 3000 topics... ?
I mean lots of people will generate tons of content like this. Seems to become a trend... go for it.
