In my experience the order tends to be:

1. MSN - Indexed and ranking
2. Google - Indexed
3. Yahoo- Index and ranking
4. Google ranking

The time between each varies though number 1 is v.fast. Time for first 3 can be reduced by increasing links into your site.

Msn : http://search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx

Jayde : http://search.jayde.com/cgi-bin/addurl.cgi

I also suggest you to submit your site in some serch directoy like as elib.org, 123exchangelinks.com. internet-web-directory.com, directoryword.net and so many other directories.

It will be beneficial in your site promotion.

Hi Guys,

welcome to the forum everyone!

We have a couple of threads you should read. Here's our tutorial:

and here's a list of some good threads to start with:

Personally, I've never submitted to the SE's - just post a link in your signature file, or get a few directory submissions and the SE's will find you OK.

Cheers,
Paz.
