3: Any and all SEO that you have attempted -

Ive tried to use all Keywords in visible text. Used h tags in site title. Made all
text for products visible as possible.

One thing id like to mention here, is this is yahoo platform. I chose to use there site builder for this project, for they have a very nice catalog manager, where I am able to load all inventory into it, and then it can update the site in real time, make changes to price, name etc. Thru this proccess, I used there program called site builder, adding custom html where applicable.

Many graphic changes, fonts, etc have occured in the last week or so. I havent slept much, changing things all the time. Wish there was a way to show al stages, so you can determine if proggress has improved or worsened.

I can only hope im going in the right one here.

One thing ive noticed is It wont let me use meta revisit tags, or the ones I have used in past sites. Dont knwo if this is a going to hurt me at all, or if it is the only ones that truly matter.

Well, I appreciate anyhelp your suggestion you may all have on this. As of now, there is only 1/4 of the total products up thus far. Lots more to go. I took a break putting them all in thus far and began what I hope is proper SEo work, and began to get outbound links. Have quite the list thus far. Im showing that it appears to be working.

Again thank you all for any information you can give me.

Bless

Dan

Well Dan, I am no SEO expert, but I think The Idea of adding content would be helpful. I know its got to be difficult to think of some.
As a pottential cust, I would not suddenly get the idea that a feather thong would be the perfect gift. Lets face it most people buy gold or jewelery as gifts, things that are practical.

Lets face it, Victorias secret doesnt sell thongs and bras, they sell passion and romance.

So it takes a little bit of poetry to make someone think of your products as a gift for someone special. If I were shopping for that type of product for my wife, I think that I would probably be looking for a gift for a certain occasion.
Lets say I am looking for a valentines day gift.

I think it would be helpful to have a page with some content such as "what to get her for valentines day" You know, list things like whats popular, what woman may like, maybee some suggestions of what type to get your lady, or even a cool little poll at the beginin (not a stripper pole) but a chance to voice the opinion of your shoppers as to what they find sexy, or another topic relating to your product.
Your products are supose to excite and sell passion, but all I see is a shopping cart and some cute models.

My tip is build a few content pages on things like "the perfect " (you polace occasion here) gift" And truly sell your product to a idiot like me , who really thinks she would like a digital camera.

Wow thank you so much for that. I actualy was thinking today of a poll like that, just dont know how to word it. I see what you mean on the passion side of it. Again, a hard write up. Its tough not adding little cutsy picturs and stuff like that to acheive it. So much has changed in the site in the last week, and so much more to add next week when my partner gets here.

I was strictly worrying about the site, perhaps to much, neglecting back link and SEO, now I believe, I hope at least that I have most of that down so I can rank well and get some pr. Now, as you mentioned, to get to the passion side of it more. I tried to get the colors to be pasionate of sorts, i see so many more lingerie stores, that look kinda, well pornish of sorts.

Trying toi stay away from that look, while still trying to push items is a tough call.

Hopefully i will find the niche for it.

Again thank you so much for that right up.

I was starting to think no one wanted to respond to it. Im glad you did bro. Thank you and God bless

Dan

No problem on the write up, I have not found a person here not willing to roll up there sleaves and get into it.
You will find some people are hesitant to get involved, cause like myself, they are just learning.

Hey, looking at some of your own links on your site, you have some competing shops posted there as well. nothing wrong with that, but look at some of their content. One site has some info on taking care of the garments, like washing and cleaning. Thats not a bad place to start.?

Um, moving onto your yahoo site, I used one before. There is allot of things that yahoo is at a disadvantage of, but can be fixed. If you like email me or instant message me (you will find it in my profile) and I will discuss those things a bit further. I also answered an email in the newbies section as well reffering to using yahoo stores, You can check that out as well.

Its in our "Newbies" forum, under the title "What to do?"
Check it out, I discuss a few benefits/drawbacks of using a yahoo store.
It may be helpful.

Dan,
Hi. I visited your site and had a suggestion or two..

On the left side menu...
I would change the topic headings from Women's Department and Men's Department
to Women's Lingerie and Men's Lingerie. This way you get that keyword in more often.
