Hello Everyone,
I am looking for an SEO-friendly CMS program. Until now I have built my sites the old traditional way. (Plain HTML editor).
The new site I am about to launch will be massive and cannot be managed without a decent CMS program.
I am not looking for a free CMS, but rather a company that has an SEO-friendly CMS and that provides support if needed.
Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

there are many companies that say they have seo friendly CMS's.. but, I would say check out www.cmsmatrix.org. They have alot of reviews/ratings/features of the current open source and commercial packages available.
Personally, I've always found that a custom CMS just works better. You don't need to compromise on features to get more functionality or functionality to get more features. You get exactly what you want.

Mambo is free and seems to work pretty well. Very SEO friendly also. We are currently working on a site with it and the learning curve seems to be reasonable.

The best one, in my opinion, are www.MAMBOserver.com and www.JOOMLA.org
THe best in seo also.

I'd agree with blogmaster2003 - I use joomla at present and it has excellent features - What I like best about it is the install/uninstall feature for "components" like forums and shopping carts - web applications in seconds - No code tweaking at all !! (unless you really want to).

Yep Joomla should rank in there at #1 now with lots of development going on now. Version 1.5 due out this month with many updated features. Many good free components available to install including some good sef components for custom urls for your pages.
