Not more than a month or two ago, I was sitting at number 2, and on some days, number 1 on MSN for keywords: Boulder Colorado Real Estate

I'm soliciting feedback on what is holding my site djtrealestate.com back from rising to the top of msn rankings. I dropped the ball on my link building in the December timeframe, but have been driving hard at that lately, adding more links. As well, I ramped back up my postings to my the411onrealestate.blogspot.com.

If you have some tips and tricks on getting past some of these search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=boulder+colorado+real+estate&FORM=MSNH&srch_type=0, it would be highly appreciated.

# 5 is not bad.

Try taking out one or two of the bold words in MSNs snippet of your page. If that makes it worse once MSN re-caches, put em' back and try different ones. Also Try More text on the front page. Play with the density a bit. It may be "too" high.

Just a quick look, things look good on-page, I would suggest a bit more text talking about Boulder Colorado and the industry.

I took a look at your backlinks and would suggest getting some content submitted with links back. Find some good real estate sites to link back as well directories surrounded by the same industry theme.

Hope this helps.

i have read here and there that keyword density and keyword prominence etc.. play a good role in ranking well with MSN.
try these if you have not done before.

My advice, don't stress MSN. It's been all over the place for almost everything that I track and many times tomorrow can look very much like yesterday.

IMO they're still sorting things so it's difficult if not impossible to isolate single factors other than the links that Rock recommended because it's always a good place to focus your energy.

How are you doing in the other engines?
