No I understand, I got in trouble for posting a clients link on a forum. The don't like to have they're product / site associated without their approval.

I recommend submitting to some directories. Then your clear and free and the spiders will find the site anyway.

Get a few links with the company name as the anchor text.

For new website, just submit your site in different directories. Directory submission helps in getting links.

As your site is submitted in different directories, search engines automatically find you & they will add you.

Also get quality backlinks. This helps in adding your site in search engines.

Have you done meta part for your website. If not, do that first, include your website company name in title, it can appear in google after second indexing or caching of your website.

Also do directory submissions. its really important.
