Redirecting to subdirectory?

Hi guys.
After my successful domain redirect, I now need to do one more. This time, its a little different.

I need to redirect a domain with "theme1" to a subdirectory on another domain with "theme2".

Is this a good idea? Does anyone predict any problems with this regarding loosing the very high rankings BOTH domains have?

Should I redirect it to a subdomain?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi,

I've never tried to do that, but I would always say for a site that's ranking well, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!".

It's easy enough to set up though. Ask when you're ready.
