Has anyone else seen websites that have PR on their index page but not passing to their lower levels, I know of a site that has been the same for about 6 months, has had the pr for quite a while (over 3-4 months) and has pr 0's for the lower levels.. now things that I've checked for are:
can google see the lower levels? I ran it through a few spider simulators and yep google can see them. Theres no javascript for the links going to the lower level pages and there has never been any pr selling going on.
I know that google can drop pages if they're not updated for quite a while but are they taking pr away from pages that haven't been updated in a long time? It would make a bit of sense to me that they would slowly loose pr as they get older. Anyway just a thought. I've also see that dmoz listings seem like they have been around for a while but have no pr at all, there will be a PR 7 linking to a bunch of pr 6 pages and then some of the pages on that pr 6 page will have pr and some won't. The thing that bugs me a bit is that a few of the pages that don't have the PR, have more than 35 listings on them suggesting that they have been around for quite a while. Anyway just some random thoughts.
