The stuff on grouping keywords.
Now that I write it out, it sounds simple.....but there is so much info out there in internet land and I really need my site to earn money now.
I never know who to believe and stuff changes so fast.
I also find Google difficult to deal with or understand. They sent me an ugly message the first day my site was launched...did I tell ya I got Dave's Cool Little Website and now have no way to promote it? I had no idea traffic exchanges were a no no and I realize it is not the right kind of traffic but I
have never had traffic before so it encouraged me enough to go forward a little, Sorry to vent like this...I am so tired and frustrated and overwhelmed with so much info on the net.
Is there anybody here who would take a newbie like me under their wing and cut this stuff up in small managle bites for me?
I have been building sites for quite a while but I have never managed to get one to make money and I so love to create sites .
I know yall are busy and that I am asking alot..please be patient with me....I want to learn and grow .
xoxo

Well for the keywords, do a search on the most popular ones. Use these in your title tag and for your anchor texts... don't over do it, mix the anchors and don't just do straight keyphrase titles.
Get links, but don't go beserk on the same anchor... for example...
SEO forum (www.seo-guy.com/)
Search engines optimization forum (www.seo-guy.com/)
Web site optimization forum (www.seo-guy.com/)
...
Each page should target at most 3 keyphrases, if you go for more than that, then you'll often get none of them. Don't raise your keyword density over 7-8% or you might go through the spammer pipes.
You will have to read around no matter what. There is too much to just make one post and get you going... after a while, you get to be automatic on the way to do pages and will rank faster.
What you are living is exactly what all newbies live at one point. I been there and redid my sites a few times... it's the test that will make you decide you drop it or you keep going... it's the patience test... specially with google...

To have an idea of some good keywords/keyphrases use Overture (http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/)
