PR from my own site

Hello All-

If I'm understanding some of the post I have read, if a site has some of their own pages that are a PR4 and if they link back to there home page will this count as a link?

Will this help the overall PR of the main page? Even maybe give it a bump?

If so, is this one of the reasons it is important to have a hugh (lots of pages)site?
