Okay, my host has gone down the tubes and I'm trying to decide between 2 new hosting companies. The hosts are pretty similar but one offers dedicated IP's for each of my sites and the other does not. Would it help SEO in even the littlest bit to have the separate dedicated IP's. Would I be able to cross link my related sites more efficiently and without fear of penalty with the dedicated IP's? The Dedicated IP's will all be on the same C-Block.

Not really, it wouldn't make much/any difference at all. The whole point of seperate IP's for hosting is to put your own nameservers on, there's no need for a new IP for each site.

how do you guys manage to get hosts on multiple IPs?
do you actually pay for a seperate host for each one of these? that's got to get really expensive.

Hi. I like my web site host. I use ModHost.
It's cheap and it's been great.

melaniejk weren't you looking for someone to make you an image database? I was checking out your host and it looks like they offer both Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index) and 4 images (http://demo.4homepages.de/?l=english) can't you integrate one of these into your site?
