Question about a strange backlink

Hi.
I was wondering if someone could confirm for me that my link on this web page will count as a backlink in Google.

I was told that my link would be on a PR6:
http://www.mind-graph.net/events.htm

Then, he changed the page after the link trade.
It now looks like it uses top and bottom frames. So, I clicked on the frame where my link was showing: PR0 --
http://www.mind-graph.net/(events)-main.htm

But, he says that page is just a graphical representation?
I'm not sure what he means by that. When I view the source for the new page I see my link code.

But, he said I should check out the source on the original page.
My link is there. Now, I don't know if he added that after I complained or not. I didn't look at the source of that frame because I didn't see my link on the screen in that link.

So, my question is.... will my link on the events.htm count as a BL?
And, is it considered hidden text because I can not see my link on that screen? I do see some javascript on the page, but I don't know what it's for.

I'm a bit confused and wondering if he is just using some technique that I'm not aware of and that it is acceptable.

Any advice?

This one is hard to tell, when I view the cached version of the page you get a nice white screen but if you view the source you can see the links so Google should be able to pick them up plus when you do a search for "mind graph events" in google without the quotes you get their page on the top and there is readable text. The only other thing you can do is to wait for a backlinks update and check to see if it shows up. It's a PR 6 so it will show up for sure if the link is found by Google.

Any idea about that javascript code before the links?

It almost looks like an encripted affiliate link. The good news is that it ends before your link starts so it's not tied in with javascript.

Hhmm... hold the phone...actually there are only three links showing...but there are more on the page that arent showing in the source either, which link is yours on the page?

Your welcome, I do a lot of link exchanges and I couldn't do as good a job without that tool. I find a ton of javascripters and framers (people using frames and the pages don't get spidered). Glad your link is reading, don't want to let go of PR 6 sites pages!!
