When does google scan here?

I am pretty new to the forum and made my first post on June 23rd. I am sure that Google probably crawls this site daily and then it takes a few days to show up in search results. I noticed a listing of that post on Google in about a week. Hope this helps.

Well there is NO PR that passes to the messages unless SEO Guy did some modifications to the forum. Still it's a very nice backlink but no PR.

It took only 3 days before GG spidered my sig link, it scanned all links on that page and a few level 2 links.
So it sure helps!

If you go to the Quick Links drop down menu and then to Who's Online you will see that Google is scanning the forum more or less constantly.

Yes google is scanning almost every day. :). So many inbound links from one website, does it affect the ranking?

I think for anyone with a new site like one of mine, put a link straight to your site map instead of your homepage, most of my site got indexed in 4 days, however its not a large site. Probably good idea to change it back once it has been indexed so people can see your homepage.
