Hello.

On my site (www seoed com) I provide a "Text Only" version of the website.
Since W3C says that H1 must be the first element in a page I did the same.
Problem is the my 1st H1 is hidden in the graphical layout and it appears in the "text only" version as an alternative to the logo. Do you think this is a problem?

The H1 contains only the name of the site: SEOed.

Later edit: I would also like my site reviewed. Please move the post to the right category.

Hmm no I dont think so, not unless someone reports you for hidden text that is ;) I dont think the W3C says your supposed to hide text, ever. That being said it is a clever trick and should be utilized a little more, change it to affordable search engine optimization if your going ot have it at all. Thats what your targeting right?

Yes, that's what i'm targeting.
I wanted to write "affordable search engine optimization" but that would be hidden text (kw even) and i don't want problems.

I know W3C says do not hide text and Google the same. I had no other alternative. I wanted the name (SEOed) to appear in the text version too.

I have this question: Standards compliant websites can be accepted into DMOZ faster?
