Web 2.0 is basically a buzzword and has different meanings depending on who you ask.

To me, Web 2.0 is (other than a buzzword) using new web development phliosophies such as AJAX, Social Bookmarking, Rounded Corners with CSS, Folksonomy tags, etc.

I wouldn't get all wrapped around the Web 2.0 axle unless you are creating a website about web development. If that's the case, Web 2.0 is a very popular search term as well as all the underlying concepts around it.

I used to get so many mails promoting this web 2.0 but i never actually cared to find out what was it..
