Hi there,
I was just wondering what you guys felt on this situation?

Do those of you who submit articles to article directories/repositories write exclusively for the directories/repositories or do you publish the articles on your own site first, wait for search engines to index your article and THEN submit to the repositories?

Assuming you are indexed first and wait a while and then submit, will you be subject to any penalties in search engines?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi,
I write seperate articles, one for directories and another for my own site.
If the article on your site is indexed first, then you won't face any penalities.
But I prefer to have unique content for my web site, So, I write seperate articles. ;)

Even i am using starategy of articles from a long time you can add it to your website as well as you can publish the same articles to the directories also. IF you are submitting for the same website then you can add and also you can publish it alo no problem at all. IF you publish before or after adding to website.

So dont worry and add it to your website the same articles as you are publishing to article directories...And you can add other s articles also to your website but you need to give link back to their website only.

I don't think its a good strategy.

The strategy is that which is working for someone. BEcause If all people are working on same strategy then no body will up. And if you think that this is not a good strategy then all articles directories and news sites and Press release sites are going to be closed................

"The strategy is that which is working for someone"

Many people do black hat ant it works for them. ;)

"...And if you think that this is not a good strategy then all articles directories and news sites and Press release sites are going to be closed..."
I think your site is not a press release site, a directory or an article site.
From my point i still don't think its a good strategy. (sorry).
I have learned in this forum that Google likes fresh food, what if you regularly give him stuff that can be found on other site??????????
