In view of some posts and understanding the importance of Blogs, i registered a blog. Now what i fail to understand is that:

1. how do i use this blog at blogspot to my benifit.
2. Are these blogs registered at google some where.
3. How do i drive raffic to these blogs.

1. I usually like to build anything I make at a location I control so that any linking power it earns is mine to transfer however I want.

2. well blogger knows about them obviously and the posts are stored in databases owned by blogger and google owns blogger...

3. post comments in other blogs, register with blog directories, write interesting stuff that other bloggers would like to link to and then do all the other normal site promotion stuff.
