Specific allinanchor? Supplies or supply?

Hello-

Do I need to be very specific when working on my allinanchor? If I want to target "widget supplies" would I also need to target "widget supply" ?

If I want to target "widget" and "widgets" would I need to target both or will the search engine pick up both if I only target one?

This is the fun one... It's different from a search to an other.
Some will stem your search while other wont. So...
Widgets Keyword may be stemmed while Keyword Widgets may not be.
This was a neat trick they added to make it harder to rank on most searches.
So this is a sit down and search to find the PHRASE to use situation.
You can also make many pages to be sure, if it's stemmed, they will only become second listings that will push your competitor away.
