Can you recommend any good companies that wil allow you to host your site and php discussion forum?

Are you looking for webhosting companies or someone to put up a forum for you,
I do both: Our hosting is coined (SEO Friendly web hosting) and comes with Urchin Stats ($50 per month if you go though urchin) we include urchin web analytics + web hosting for $39.95 per month

Its pricier then most basement feeder hosting but you basically get unlimited everything, emails, bandwidth, hard disk space and of course you get SEO firendly stats & support as for the forum question http://www.mod-rewrite.com/forum/thread23.html there is your answer :)

I work with a real good hosting company that could hook you up for around $30 a month. 90% of the sites we host have a PR of 5 or higher. For more information you can email me at james@breakfree.com.

what does PR have to do with hosting? The fact that your clients have high PR's has nothing to do with where they are hosted

Jseamless, why dont you just get a cheap web host, put a phpbb forum on it and add some mods to remove session ids? Its really easy to do.

I believe it is the best free forum provider, as well as very well supported by mods etc. You can see here and at alot of other SEO chat forums that vBulletin is used, I can not offer much insite to this but if its a forum to get you started I say go for phpbb, and add a bot indexing mod to get the pages indexed. I have added various mods which offer great useability such as bot indicator and different skin

You should really go with the offer seo-guy gave you. :) That's actually more then reasonable for all the services that you get along with it.

With regards to the forum, you should spend a few extra bucks and go with the vBulletin forum. And not only will seo guy setup the forum :D he'll setup the mod rewrite hack on it so that your forum will be spiderable.

My 2 cents.
