Hi ,
Back link is the major factor in seo but I think in Google, yahoo,MSN Yahoo prefer for back link more than MSN than Google.I am reading in one article Google is not like reciprocal link exchange it`s like only one way link.I am right or not.Google prefer on page optimization is good and one way link in huge amount.

Google - Loves em
Yahoo - Likes em
MSN/Live - can live without em
OFF TOPIC recips are not considered a good idea these days....
RELEVANT recips and relevant one ways are fine

all 3 major search engines really like them... IMO 3 way links were very helpful to your link building...

3 ways are just another unnatural reciprocal linking scheme. You need natural back links from sites that are relevant to your site, preferably from an authority on that subject matter.

it is known that.....
Yahoo! focuses on content
MSN links
Google as we all know is a mix of links, content and other items.

Go for as many as possible one way links, where it's not possible add reciprocals.

good luck to get "natural backlinks"... you have to be practical and use 3 ways..as long as the 3 sites are relevant, theres no prob in 3 ways..

To put it bluntly BULL! Certainly if a site is a piece of crap it will get what it deserves and what it don’t, but natural back links do come over time and in droves.

You better believe it.... if all U can do is some directories and recips... it's not building the strongest of link profiles...
Here are TONS of Link Building Reference (http://www.huomah.com/search-engines/search-engine-optimization/link-building-ideas.html) resources and an article on link building ideas (http://www.reliable-seo.com/knowledge-base/seo_strategy/link_building.html)
If ya can't find something in there... well... give it up - lol

I never sent an email to swap links since the Florida update... I don't submit to directories... and funny enough I have backlinks. So yes, there are ways to get them natural backlinks... and I have them from the universities, newspapers, online encyclopedias... all you have to do is make a usefull site really.
