Can someone reccomend a good program to automate finding and emailing (monitoring too) link partners rather than manually doing each one? Preferably on that's free :D

Both Zeus and Arelis have programs that assist you in finding link parnters. They both moniter your links to make sure that you are listed still. They both cost money. Nothing good is free except maybe the sunrise.

Couple programs to suggest are:

Linkpartners/linksmanager (two different sites but think they are the same)
the linkpartners part is free to list but to have the system manage it all for you, linksmanager can do that for a monthly fee.

Another cool program is called linkworth. Its geared more for inbound links only, but you can actually accept links to. There are quite a few helpful tools inside of it. You pay for links coming to you and get paid for links placed on your site.
