Hey Guys and Gals...
Does anybody know if there is a difference in PageRank weight when coming from a Image Link rather than a HTML Link?

Thanks Much

It should be the same as far as I know. The only real difference is that with an image you're missing out on the anchor text unless you can use an alt text on the image.

Image links are usefull when you do not wan't words on the page for example.
The image say something to the user for the link... the tag something to the spider.

Hey SEO Guy!

Watch out! Your de-optimizing this thread...tsk tsk tsk....

....do I use an image to link or text link? Should I use image linking or text linking for SEO? Should I link to pages using text or images? To link or not to link, THAT is the question.

Image links text links image links text links image links text links. How not to SEO.

Actually, I do like to have image links present on a website, but I know that the importance of alt text associated with the images has been significantly downgraded by Google; I doubt it is used at all as weight toward the linked-to page.

Yeah... I never used pictures except to exclude words from the sheet.
My site is bilingual. I use a English picture button and don't have the word english on my french text page...
For seo... my opinion is, nothing will beat a nice juicy text link with good anchor.

I am of the view that we must use the text links because of anchore text in it . However image can be used where the link text is not relevent to that page, for example the pages is for sports and you want to add link of SEO with text link of search engine optimization it will be wise to use image here instead of links and link text is not relative ti sports page

Does anyone know what is better. Image Link or Text Link?

1. Does the Title="keyword" in the text link count?
2. How much weight does the ALT tag have on the image link
3. and the anchor text is the the text between the <a href="domain">keyword</a> >

does alt text count exactly as much as regular anchor text would?
