I want to send out some personalized reciprocal email requests.

However, I am aware that you can have your reseller hosting account closed down as for "spamming" if someone reports you. All you need is for one person who doesn't like your email to report you to someone like spam cop, who then contact your host. They can then close you down.

Questions:

1. What happens if you open up another hosting account and send your email from that email address? Will the url in the body of the reciprocal link email be reported or just the email from which it was sent?

2. What is the solution to this? Do I need to set up an email server on my server? Or what?

Thanks,

Jon

Actually Jon if you want to email people just type in "keyword + link exchange" in Google and only contact those who are actively trading links, if they have a link directory it is an invitation to email them, in other words it is solicted.

If your spamming, you probably shouldnt be here, not that you are, but it is frowned upon just so you know

I will be sending out personalized reciprocal link requests which I do not consider spamming. Yet I also understand that one mans legit is anothers spam. It is certainly not illegal to send out reciprocal link requests from the UK.

This is altogether different than harvesting thousands of email addresses and sending out boiler plate emails.
