Squals out on the gulf stream... big storm coning soon...
Normaly we hunker down but the gendarmes are gonna be pushing this one. I felt pretty good because they predict land fall in my front yard, literally (too funny). Normally that's the safest place to be (never seems to hit where they predict a day or so in advance)... Oh well

Weird... here in Québec, we never get tornados. Well we had one in my city about a week ago and it was not so far from my place. Not the big thing there... just a truck and a boat flipped upside down. Maybe the weather man changed it's algo.

Time to change my avatar.... though this may be your best. What do ya think SEO Bob? Two cup sightings daily.

The other night we had the most wind here i'd seen in years. I forgot to put my tent pegs into the ground and an empty tent I was drying out rolled onto it's side. But that's about it for wind around here.

Looks like I nailed it initially (smiley here), and apologies too any cracker brethern who got hit. We did all the prep and it hit south... go figure. Had a bunch neighbors evacuate to areas right in the path. When they get back I'm telling them it's karma... and that I always wondered about them anyway.

Good thing it went the other way. Too bad for those who tried to hide and finally ended up in it's path. No way to guess, everyone tries to do the best they think with the situation they are in.

I'm glad that stalled front was there on the east coast, else it was practically heading right this way. But that stalled front took both Bonnie and Charley the other way.
Although, I think they should've named this hurricane Clyde. :D

I have a friend who just moved to Florida a couple months back from Minnesota. She was quite scared and I believe she evacuated all the way to northern Georgia. Her place ended up with only a telephone pole resting against it, however her neighbors on either side were completely demolished.
