Hi Everybody,

I lost page rank although I have a good traffic and rankings in Google. What else is responsible for loosing the page rank. my site is http://www.greatdad.com and it has PR of 4, in the past, PR was 5.

Any response is welcome.

It means that you did not add links to your website of quantity and quality equal to what others did, and you dropped in rank.

Actually, what it means is the thresh-hold for the pr values was tweaked a bit. Sites across the board are reporting lower pr values.

As already stated I can add that maybe links pointing to your site were not relevant to theme of your site n maybe they were of low quality..

after this page rank up date you are not the only that have lose page rank.
you are one from millions others people that have the same thing.
add links and use anchor text.

I am also in the same position, well I don't mind because PR is not always the constraint if u have got nice traffic on your website.....

Look at the next PR update .....

I too have lost 1 point PR on one of my sites with the last update.
PR is not always the most important thing with a website. ;)

I agree...you should concentrate on gaining more good quality backlinks.
Not necessarily quantity.

hey it has! a pr4 i see.. its really happen sometimes tool bar had been fluctuate.. check again..

U need quality backlinks for your site. As most of the directories are going into supplemental, submitting in those directories our site pages will also go in supplementa. It will decrease our backlinks and lose PR. So try to bulid quality links to your site.
