Why does Google not show my meta name descriptoin

Hi - could someone let me know why Google is not showing my meta name description. Instead it is showing my h1 - which is okay and then the rest of the text from the middle of my page.

Does this effect my keywords - i.e. if I have my main in my header and they are showing other stuff.............or is it just a visual thing.........

In other words does it matter?

Google shows what it believes to be the most relevent snippet of text based on your code for that specific kw phrase "not" your meta description by default. Try different search combinations you will see different results and no it doesnt matter :)

Just keep doing like you never noticed it :)

You see Google on show the relevent text for keyword searched The keyword which you have searched may not be effectively in meta tags. Further Google always show text from middle and last also. So You need not to worry about it
