new site, suggestions wanted

ok i just recently created a new site 100 Proof (http://www.1hundredproof.com), i've gone to 100% valid XHTML 1.0/CSS2 with text based CSS menus. I know i need to give it some time and get it some backlinks, but are there any other changes you folks think it could use to make it more search engine friendly?

I'm currently working on redoing my homepage in a similar manner so as to make it more friendly (but at least it's #1 for Alkivar on Google/MSN/Yahoo). So any suggestions for the 100 Proof page will be taken into consideration for my homepage redesign as well.

I don't know why but the home page is showing a blank page though everything is there in view source. I would check back for the reason later.

Alkivar, I get a snow storm too.... Nothing but the great white, must be what Bob sees stepping out of the igloo. Looked really quick could it be no </div>? Just guessing <div id="container">

nope theres a </div> and according to w3 and WDG validators it passes.

tracked down the problem... it was an IE specific bug with the way IE parses script tags...

<script type="text/javascript" src="scripts/menu.js" />
while valid according to XHTML standards will not work for IE

<script type="text/javascript" src="scripts/menu.js"></script>
will work for IE.

lame but thats the way it is.

Yea, I see the </div> at the end the line. Just being lazy. Glad you got it sorted.

I didn't see an address for your venue on the site.
Is that intentional? (ie. The reason for the phone number)

yeah thats intentional ...
we havent figured out which one of the 3 we're gonna use yet.
