I think I got it right, I understand the importance of backlinks and have done a search and checked those I compete with however how can so many pages link to them where there is no links.htm or any page of the sort?


My second question is I am with linkmarket, it is not a link farm, but helps you find the right links for yourself, however. How should I provide the information.

On the homepage, should I have a "links" page. Also, can I have a directory, for example.

We will call my link page partners (Partners) Then I will have a directory Health, Women, Society, etc, with in each of those directories would be the correct link relating to that content?


Should I exchange links with non-related content to my site?

They are either getting links because they have good content without exchanging links. Or they have got the links directly in their content, related as further information.
You should only trade links with related content. It is not mass, but quality. Build quality content, and get quality backlinks.

Thank you, when I checked out the popularity and mine regarding links, the blew me away. So, if my site is related to women, society, health, diet & fitness, I should only exchange links with those correct?

Yeah. And don't think about mass first, first but really good and enough content. Seo-Guy gets tons off backlinks without even asking for it, because related sites link to good sites when they are relevant.
