This is a race to see who is on the first page of olympia coffee Note this Olympia coffee page (http://www.seo-guy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2330&goto=nextoldest) doesnt count because its already there. Not like I want coffee traffic from olympia it's just a test

Whoa, lol. I'm #1. I have no clue how that happened. I only have 2 links pointing to that page, from my front page and from my sig here. That's it.

I wonder if it has anything to do with your main site already being established... soelife.com is brand new and its not even in googles index. I should have done it off of wavelinemedia.com I bet. Anyone have experience with this?

You won't find a cache of any of my sites, that's why you don't see it.

hmm I noticed that mobilebadboy didnt do the order of h1 h2 <p> h2 <p> h3 <p> that seo guy suggested

Looks like you did h1 h2 <p> h2 <p>

I wonder if my site having too many header tags like seo guy suggestion could be some sort of penalty with google since Im #1 for allinanchor, #1 allintitle, #1 allintext have 5x as many backlinks including a pr7 some 5's and 4's

Whats your guy's thoughts on this one???

I'm not sure. I didn't really go with any set plan.

I see I've dropped to 2nd though. Maybe Google was just getting my hopes up. I'm still waiting to see if and when it shows up in Yahoo, where it shows up.

[edit] Google's been acting funny. If you refresh the page several times, I'll jump back and forth between 1st and 2nd. I saw this happening with another site of mine a few days ago. Refreshing made it alternate between 16th to 20th.

ok I give up on google, my ranking just got worse on it. So when seo guy said this technique was meant from msn/yahoo he was right...I think its only meant for them. So I will just keep checking those two now

I'm still waiting on Yahoo. It seems it's finally picked up the text on the front page, but it hasn't indexed the actual page yet. I was 6th on Dogpile last night but dropped to 8th today. Not sure what that means but I got bored and checked. 8-|

you got picked up from yahoo already? It hasnt came by for me yet... im tempted to 301 my current coffee page to wavelinemedia.com since its already an established web site.

Well I kept checking "olympia coffee site:visualintensity.com" and it was turning up nothing, but yesterday/last night it finally pulled up my front page. But if it's crawled the link, it's not showing up yet.

I just had a search for 'olympia coffee roasters' come to the site, lol.

Was that someone from here? If not, that person's probably like, damn this page sucks.

Not yet. Yahoo (along with Google) have been deep crawling a few of my sites the last day or so, but Yahoo hasn't hit that site yet. At least not a deep crawl yet.

yeah those two have been deep crawling one of mine... keep kicking myself in the butt for putting up the coffee page a brand new domain name... just trying to make my life more difficult I guess. Though this makes it the ultimate seo test
