Hello, everyone.
Todays question is.....

Is my web site navigation to blame, or are there just that many navigationally challenged people out there?

Since I redesigned my site, I have gotten three emails from potential clients saying that they couldn't find out how much my services cost. BIG PROBLEM. If three people bothered to write me about it, how many more people have the same problem and just leave the web site?

Is there a problem with the way I set up the navigation ?

Could some of you please visit my web site and see if can find the cost of my research fees.
How easy was it to find?
Did you get lost in the site?
Not know where to click?

I had a similiar problem with my old web site design and had to use the old "Click Here" and "For more details" . Yuck.

Thank you for taking part in this little test. :D

I found it real quick on your services page. Maybe you could create a pricing page and put it on your main nav or put the prices on your order page as well.

Hard to find ???

In seconds I knew it was a minimum 6 hrs... and the little blue pricelist is hard to miss. Maybe these 3 email dudes lost their white cane also.

Hi.
Well, I asked one of these people if they could help me. I told them how I just redesigned the web site myself and asked if they could help me make it easier to locate that information.

She said that she was so busy reading all the interesting text on the home page that she didn't bother to go back to the top of the page and see the buttons.

But, I would like to point out that she did find the order form page. That's how she contacted me.

So, WLH I think you have a good idea. I will put a link to my prices or the actual price chart on the Order Form Page. All three did find that order page, so I think your idea will definately help. Thank you.

Jocelyn, thanks for looking for that. Happy you found it so quickly. Yep, a lot of my clients are seniors. So, I do want to make it easy for them in case they aren't internet savy.
