I'm pretty new but have wandered around various forums, Google advice etc. I have a website www.addingtondrivingschool.co.uk. I created it with an old copy of Adobe Pagemill and published it on the web. Searching for "Addington Driving School" put it top of the list when I searched. No probs.
However, I decided to upgrade the site using Netobjects Fusion MX. I uploaded this about six weeks ago and it still doesn't get found. I have meta tags but appreciate google doesn't pay much attention to them. It's been suggested that because Netobjects automatically generates the style for each page this may be a problem but I don't know how to get round it. Also the text is a long way down the page in html as the automatically generated nav bar takes up a lot of space first. I don't think this can be changed without changing the site. To try to get round it I've typed in the name of the site right at the top of the page with some other keywords. It looks untidy but it's to find out if this helps. Have I come to the right place here for help? Should I simplify my site? Should I use a different web creation programme? Remember I'm new! Thanx
