Many of us want to close, but those NAFTA dudes won't let us. They'd notice.
I recently heard that the long-standing lumber tariff imposed by the US government was lifted. "What a wonderful development in our trade relations!" I thought. Turns out the tariff was lifted after US businessmen had bought out our industry. I'm not angry - it's what's done in the business world - we were starved out, like a besieged city. The reason I mention this is to remind us all (I know SEO AM was just being cute) that Canada and the US are more INTERdependent than is often credited. GIANT trading partners. I wonder how we'd function as a single entity? I wonder if we'd even out with each sides better qualities. Does Mexico wanna join, too? Party.
