I Don't Get It - Gmail

OK, I've certainly never been accuused of being the sharpest tool in the shed so cut me some slack if I'm missing something, but...

1. Who needs another _______ (fill in the blank) email address?
2. Why are there so many willing to be a lab rat to fund Googles latest cocktail party?

Well I guess it the prerelease fiever... and people think it's IN...lol

When I used to be production manager in a computer company, people would buy fast serial ports. Mouse would not go faster, but it was IN. Then it was MPEG ready vga cards, then it was 3D... I guess the word is out that it's IN... lol

I think people are tired of the normal hotmail accounts. Plus Google is the big dog on the block now. Like Joc said, its the "in" thing to do. Its an exclusive club with their "by invitation only" strategy...

I am currently using my gmail email to see if link exchange response is any better, early indications are that it is slightly better. I believe alot of sent emails from hotmail get caught in filters, dunno if anyone else has seen this?
