Hi, All!

I am not real sure about this. But, I have received quite a few link requests from webmasters who have real pretty, categorized, link exchange systems.

The problem is your link ends up about 3-4 clicks from the main page. I find these kinda useless the PR is nill and the possibility of receiving any traffic is slim to none.

Unfortunately, I have to turn down these requests. I let the webmaster know why.

What is your opinion on these very well formatted link pages?

Thanks,
Joe

While all our sites, part of a project, have all links that can be spidered from HP, we have to accept links from pages that are lost in the depths.

Once developed, this is unlikely to be the case.

IMO, if it's a relevant link-take it. It may not be as stong as you like right now but you can always point them to this forum and if they are serious about improving their site they will make a lot of changes based on what they learn here.

The benifit in this to you is that in doing so, their PR will increase and over time help yours. You should always try to bring people that aren't your competitors here because it will help to both strengthen this community and indirectly help you too! Plus they'll love you for helping them find such a great resource :D
