Are H1 tags no good anymore

all of my sites use H1 tags, I have a website called www.baytrader.net which I have put together to hopefully attract the keyword:wholesale suppliers

Even though my page is a PR5 , Iam nowhere , and I noticed the top 3 searches in google for this term dont use any h1 tags !!!!

h1 tags...sure. [as much as i wish otherwise.]
but its not the backbone of great seo work.
many many other factors weighing in.

are you sure you want to rip off the ebay logo like that?

H1 tag is good but there are lot more factor like inbound links from theme based high PR pages, anchor text and content of page
