Google does not show all backlinks , who does?

We all know that Google does not show all of a site's backlinks.

Some try Yahoo, Altavista .......

wow, i never checked that before. One site has 90 bl in google and over 11,000 in msn.... this is insane

11-19 of 4360... maybe they use the same techniques as google to show backlinks... have tons but shows only 19 of them...lol

ok, it is possible. But then I did a site: command to know how many of them are internal links pointing to the home page...

I just noted this as well...do a search for your biggest kw. Ours is "outdoor recreation". MSN says "Results 1 - 9 of about 13,583,070 containing Outdoor Recreation". Google says "Results 1 - 10 of about 4,100,000 for Outdoor Recreation". Yahoo gives us "Results 1 - 100 of about 4,780,000 for Outdoor Recreation".

MSN is finding three times more info than G & Y? Doesn't make sense. Anyone else see anything like that? I just tried "sex" and G has twice as many pages as Y, but MSN has 6 times what Y has. Where is MSN finding all of this info?

Maybe the amount of result is pages that contains both for google, but msn might be counting even pages that do have only one of the words showing, so more pages. But I saw some searches that seem to have far too many results even if this was the case.

On one list I went through it said 311 results from a single site, but if I actually page through the results, it reaches 51 and just stops. I think there must be some sort of math error.

I'm sure Microsoft will come out with a service pack in a few months. Of course, it will probably only work for IE...

I just looked, one second it had 1100 links, then it had 619 when I hit the next button twice. Maybe its the same for you guys. 11,000 to start, then hit next three times and it drops to 4000...

One things for sure, this is definately a Microsoft product. :p

If you want an accurate number, send a spider out from your site and then tell it to check for a link to your site on each outbound site it hits.
