certain terms which previously had high results at http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/?mkt=us
like "London Apartments" are not showing, even though we get dozens of hits a day. previously it was showing 50k per month. the suggested term "apartment london" shows only 6814, so it cant be that they are bundling non plurals and plurals?
have they removed all plurals?
anyone else use overture in their seo quests? and seen any similar behaviour?

I have not used it in a good bit, but I usually use
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/
as my keyword suggestion tool.

I noticed that if you do a search for two words like.

"Web Designers" "Web site designers" the results come out in a peculiar order.

They will show results such as "designers web" instead of "Web Designers". They definitely did not do this a few weeks ago. Something has changed.

thanks, cool tool, and it proves a lot. like overture must be "broken".

it is good to know i am not alone in this.

just had client ask to change keyword targeting mid campaign :) based on what they saw on overture.

there are lots of reasons the suggestion tools will be off. they are not really to be used to figure out strict quantities, more to just find whether or not there is traffic there and a few related terms.

I have just noticed, overture changes the english word "colour" to the american spelling "color". even though overture UK is chosen for the keyword suggestion. i think i put too much faith into overture.

from my experience it is very important to double check these terms on the log's SE referral and on the ppc aggregator reports - you can learn a lot and decide which key phrases are best for your terms.

why i started this thread, is www.londonapartment.co.uk is targeting the term "London Apartments", and does it quite well, and overture used to show about 50k on that term, but now doesnt even recognise it, suggesting the far less popular term "Apartment London" (singular and reversed). It is missleading, and doesnt tie up with the suggestion tool in addwords. this has all happened recently, since G's been playing up these last couple of months. anyone know the business/finacial relationship? i guess you know what i am getting at?
