I get indexed recently but PR 0 .
I did do some seo but like no improvement.
i even have link exchange with pr5 web.

this probably means that your site is a new site or it is banned for some reason. i'm not too experianced in this area but i'm pretty sure its because its a new site.

Thats a difficult site to Optimise really, delete half your meta tag with all that robot stuff all except for your description, keywords, metta http equiv stuff etc ( all the main stuff) apparently this just puts ya important code further down the site try including your keywords more throughout the site especially near the top of the site in look at your site through widexl.com for keyword prominence ummm try and include em in h1 headings look at the google scoring system thread and see what ya missed its a great site though time will tell.

Backlinks are very important, also directory listings such as dmoz would really help, what have you done to SEO the site so far?

So if you go to goole.com and search you are on there right? When getting reciprocal links a good lesson is to look at where you are going to be listed it may be a high pr site but if your link isn't on a page with a decent rank say 4 it wont show up in backlinks. Take a chill pill buddy dont worry to much; what PR do you need to be competetive? whats strange tho is that theres quite a few sites that 'contain the term' bizhelp... have you checked rustybricks page rank predictor >? have a look at it see what it predicts ( not fantastically acurate ) but the only real indicator around as far as i know

thats what I mean about not fantastically accurate I reckon it's ok up to PR6 then maybe a bit over generous; then again he does rule this place.. Lets see damm has google visited your site yet; doesnt seem to be indexed. Love Rusty to death but the pagerank predictor doesnt work. Say's I'll be pagerank 10 next update, yeah that'll happen.

Anyways bizhelp, pagerank takes a while to build up especially for new sites. My advice is to just keep submitting to directories and doing relevant link echange as you build your site and your Pr and link pop will pick up afterwards.

If your site is new it has to pay its dues before it can rank generally

No it is not true, the user agent or robots.txt is used to give instructions to robots including google. The only time it would block google is if you specifically stated that such as

User Agent: Googlebot
Dissallow: /

DO NOT USE THAT CODE ABOVE!

Anyways doing a mod_rewrite on phpbb is fine, check out www.ozzu.com a friend of mines site, PR 8 100k pages in google, no problems there and mod rewrite was applied

OK so sids are gone but what about a mod rewrite, for unstance why not have this page http://www.bizhelpforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111 be
http://www.bizhelpforum.com/forum/top%20referers%20added.php or something to get your kw in the URL using modrewrite and using the posting title as the UR: string, where spaces %20 could be applied by default or of course a good old hyphen "-"
