Anyone know of a good way to check how many incoming links you have and also to find your keyword ranking in various SEs? I use google dance and often just type in the term and try to find my site. Is the a tool that will tell you the location of your site for keyword phrases if you just enter you URL and the keywords?

There is no way whatsoever, unless you own the directory to get an accurate number of incoming links. A whole group of researchers including myself have concluded this! You can find approximate counts in Google and stuff by typing link:www.foobar.com or by using other such commands discussed in this forum, but they are very inaccurate counts.

For the other things, there are many many many such toold online, and you can also create good tools with the Google API.

Best ask an SEO dude what the best ones available online are. Ours are inhouse.

I guess I just keep on using spread sheets and searching for key phrases then. It seems to work ok unless you want to find where your site shows for a key phrase and have to just look in google till you see it.
