Hi.
I just put my first directory online. I used the free php script from biz-directory.org

Considering that I didn't know anything about PHP, I was pleased that I got it working pretty easily. I just kept editing it to add my design elements.

But, I'm now having problems with it.

Only some of the sites that I am submitting are getting listed in the Pending section for me to approve or reject.

I don't know why sometimes the submit works and other times it doesn't.
Did I mess up the php?

Is anyone else using this free directory script?

The directory is located at:
www.genealogygeek.com/directory/

Thank you.

There is something wrong.

When I enter details with an error, an error page should come up and that is not happening.

Did you confine your editing to the 3 template files?

Hi.

Thank you for testing the directory. I found this in the pending listing:

Just testing your directory as you said on seo-guy's forums (accept) (reject) (edit)
(move) (ban 203.195.105.33)
that not all of your submissions are being registered
Keywords: as pending. we'll see if this works?
http://hello

However, a listing I did a minute before I signed in to check the Admin did NOT make it to the pending listings.

It's really strange, isn't it ?

I mean if it's based on templates, shouldn't the results always be the same.
Shouldn't it either always work or always be broken?

I hope I don't have to delete it and start all over.

I think I edited the template stuff only. I was very tired around 3am when I started it. I think I at one point saved somthing to the wrong name and uploaded it. But, I realized it and uploaded the original to overwrite it.

Could it possibly have anything to do with wait time. It seems the submissions that work are the ones I don't check on for awhile.

Or, perhaps there is a limit on the number of submissions a person can make from the same IP in a certain amount of time?

Thank you.
