I recently added a webmaster forum to our company website and our rankings have dropped. We ranked well in google and yahoo for the term "new jersey web design" and now we're ranking terrible. Our site went from about 50 pages to now over 800. I'm thinking our PR is being bled because the forum pages do not have a PR yet but waht about yahoo? Anyone have any ideas??

I would just leave it there. Adding the forum didn't cause your rank to drop-plus even if you take it off it will be a while before there are any major changes in the SERPs in either direction.

Post or PM me your keywords and I'll see if I can figure out what may have happened. It's the link in your sig right?

Adding hte forum should not ahve adversly effected your rankings at all, it is likely something else

You do obviously sell text links and that is not a very good idea, I would take down the webmaster resources section as sitewide links to "bodybuilding supplements" will raise flags

selling sitewide text links off topic is generally not a good idea.

Rankings were just fluctuating. We're back ranked #2 in Yahoo.

As for selling links, we no longer do so. We're also keeping our links relevant. Thanks for the suggestions.
