I look at a bunch of my keys and they really moved beyond flux.
Some when up but some down... so it's not just a PR thing...
This looks an algo change or big tweak.
Anyone see this ?

Joc, yes, I've seen large movements lately. Google is gearing up for what looks like to be another PR/IBL.

I'm seeing mostly upward movement in my rankings also.
I changed the title of my home page. So, that could be the reason.
But, I also just scored a PR7 link to my web site last night. :D
Could that have affected my results already?
I thought it takes about a month before it has any affect.
But, if the site's a PR7 it must get crawled frequently, right?
The web site with the PR7 is in a foreign country. Does that make any difference?
I checked Digitalpoint a few minutes ago and saw one of my keywords fall off the planet. It really DROPPED. According to DP, it fell today -9,845.
Now, I'll take their word for it. I'm not going to go look for it. That would take forever. Has anyone else seen such a high number in Digital Point for a one day change?
Well, hopefully we will see a google PR and BL update real soon.
Best Wishes to All,
Melaniejk

Riddle me this. Why does a site that has 2450 indexed backlinks drop for allinanchor? This has me shaking my head.

5 of my favourite keyphrases have disappeared from the SERPs, others have mostly moved up by a few points (normal behavior).
Glad to hear it's not just me. When Google jigs like this I find it's best to reserve judgement and not panic !
In the last update I found sections of my site disappearing for a brief period before returning to a superior position, so hopefully this is the storm before the calm.

Nope... just stop looking at the serps for a while.
Create content, come to the forum, take the wife or girlfriend out. (or husband, or boyfriend out [for Irish lady])
When you see a post that say PR/BL update... then blow your mind.
It's much easier for me from spring to automn. I work like crazy.
I prefer to post and have fun with the friends than look at SERPS.

And I thought it was just me :)
Traffic to my site is improving dramatically for the last 2 days. Of course this is start contrast to my previous post about how I noticed a DRAMATIC negative change to SERPS in my niche a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, we just did some SEO work which is likely influencing our results too. (Imagine the dissappointment to hear that there's a big G shift after seeing positive results for our SEO work) ;)

Yep, it's obvious that something big is happenning to the algo.
So far it's served me good, as some keywords (very highly competitive) are popping out, when i was MIA for them in recent months and even years. This is good!
Hope my current optimizing is beeing grabbed by the bots and that it will affect the upcomming serps.

is there anyway for a dating site to gain highrankings using it's membership pages?
