I think that you are missing the point of this one, its a pub with a free bar there wont be any cocktails ;)

Its a conference that is held in a pub in London, a lot of seo's from the states and the Uk will be there, Google, Overture, Yahoo and a few others sponsor the whole thing and you get a few freebies as well.

I have been a member of that forum for nearly two years, and I have been to one before. They hold them in the states as well, talk of one in Australia at some point.

Its always a sell out of just over 300 and worth the £59 ($99) easily :D

Well the day at the pub was well worth the money and then back to the hotel to meet up with a few others, I met Matt Cutts from Google and had an intersting talk with him. Met a few other people from Yahoo, Espotting and Noel McMichael the CEO of Marketleap - very cool guy. Then I had to too much to drink and I dont remember a lot else. I didnt get back home till 2 in the afternoon the next day ;)

it sounded interesting, and I might consider it if it was close to me, but 300$ is quite a bit of money.. for those of you that've gone, do you really feel you got your money out of it?

Me again :)

Besides the day at the pub, there is alot that goes on back at the hotel all week. Hardcore spammers sit up till 4 in the morning talking 'shop' met some interesting people, this year SES was in the same hotel, so you got to talk to Danny Sullivan from searchenginewatch and a few other big names.

There are gatherings in the states, not been to one yet but I intend to go to the next one. Rumors of one down under as well...
