I really need some help with getting a decent page rank for my site and I'm willing to help out with programming in return. I'm working with php and mysql currently but have also worked with most aspects of web programming including ASP and SQL server in the past.

Magoo, The page rank and SERP's will be mostly a function of your inbound links. For anyone that might be interested in the barter it would be helpful to post the URL so they know the magnitude of the task and whether they might be able to tap their existing contacts for links.

I wouldn't be too concerned with page rank unless you're going to be selling links.

Hi, thanks for the Welcome and the advice. The site is www.weirdears.com. The SEO so far has consisted mostly of submitting it to directories. I've got about 15 or 20 other inbound links. My keywords are mostly not very competitive, although I have some more competitive ones planned for longer term, some of them have virtually no relevant sites on the net. For someone who knows their stuff I'd say it'b be a pretty easy job, I just know very little about the subject and as I have no further plans to build sites in the future the learning involved makes it easier to have an expert work on it if possible.
