On a link popularity search I have finally got links showing up from Google & MSN
but still none from Yahoo could there be a robot issue with Yahoo that doesn't
affect Google Pls advise

Are you referring to the NEW beta MSN, because the REGULAR MSN and Yahoo are actually very similar?

Or are you querying a link popularity checker? In that case you might want to check the results some time... It's not unusual for Yahoo results NOT to show on these tools...

Yes it is the beta MSN tried searching link:http://www. on Yahoo nothing at all showing up

That's odd. However, there have been reports of webmaster having to wait for months to get their stuff to show up on Inktomi powered SEs like Yahoo and MSN... Have you checked your logs for mentions of "Slurp", Yahoo's bot?

A little ironic! The new MSN beta has one of the faster bots. (indexing)

When in doubt find sites that have a good amount of backlinks listed in the search engine you want to be in and get links from these sites.
