Does anyone know anything about powerlinks.com.

For a small fee they will automate a reciprocal link exchange for you. It seems good to me as I really hate the process of exchanging links.

I have never tried or head about them but I managed to do some research and here is what I found:

http://www.google.ca/search?q=link%3Awww.powerlinks.com&btnG=Search&hl=en&safe=off

They seem to be pretty honest claiming their database features 1000 links because it shows about 1,500 linking to them. Each links page of Powerlinks member has a link to powerlinks.com. I have checked through many of the pages and it seems most of them are from infact members.

Many people however exclude links, as they have the option to filter out a link. (from what it says on their website)

The price is great, no questions about that. 10$ for first domain / month and 2 dollar per additional domains after that.

Another thing is many of the link pages seem to have a low page rank or no page rank. Here is a list of the top link pages where your link "could" apear.

What you guys think about it?

Good Research iNV.

The only concern I have is that the directories seem to be all the same. If that is the case, then Google will pick it up as duplicates and could ignore some of the links. The exclusion option will help remove some duplication.

If I don't hear of anything bad by tomorrow I am going to give it a try.

We signed up for it a while back. I did a link: search in the msn beta.... and hundreds of powerlinks pages popped up. Because of my category, all the links pages ended in the same number (?c=12 ). They were easy to spot.

So even if G filters them out.. I'd say do it for MSN and Yahoo. The price is low.. and you only have to link the whole directory you place on your site with a single link from your index page.

It's actually just one page (which resides on your domain or theirs) you link to from your index page.. then the script creates all the other pages dynamically.

The top ranked site has no external banklinks in G, and doesnt rank in the first 100 sites for 'paying surveys'

Doesnt look like that link exchange is working too well :fuct:
