hello everyone, I;m new to here and I hope I can ask my humble question here. Actually I do have a web site to optimize. Currently google shows that my web site's page rank is 0. I have did everything i could on the contents but it doesn't helped me at all.

Other major SEs also don't show good results even i had optimized my meta tags as well as my contents. From the marketleap.com's free analysis tools, I found that my site's link popularity only shows a total of 35 from all the major SEs.

Can anyone help me on this please? What must i do now to push up my link popularity? My page rank is so low, i don't think there's anyone wants to exchange link with me...

It's hard to help out without a URL.
Set your homepage in your usercp so we can have a look (unless it's adult).

Is my effort not enough? Please give me any suggestions that might help me.

Remove the following from your header:
None of these are needed:
<meta name="expires" content="never">
<meta name=”robots” content=”Follow, Index”>
<meta name=”revisit-after” content=”7 days”>

This is spam:
meta name="keywords" content="Global B2B emarketplace,emarketplace,International Global Asian trade leads,Asian Manufacturers,Business Sourcing,Business Source,Business Directory Portal,emarketplace,facilitating trades,sourcing business opportunity,internet webstore,e-catalogue,e-catalog,e-tender,Import Export,selling buying offer,match & trade,Business Match Making,matching,auto posting,company directory profile,business opportunities,distributor,wholesalers,exporter,importer,manufacturer,supplier,world importer exporter directory,sourcing,business to business,B2B e-commerce,e-business solution,buyer,seller,international trading,trading solution,global sourcing,global business advertising,small medium business advertising,eadvertisement,advertisements,import export trade leads,Foreign Trade Leads,Malaysia Indonesia Singapore China Thailand Vietnam Taiwan Korea Japan B2B trade leads,business promotion,global business partners,product catalog,Webstore,trade directory,global sources,Asian sources,internet marketing,internet advertising,industrial supplies,trade show"

now that that is out of the way, have you embarked on a link popularity campaign? Do you write to webmasters with personalized emails asking for link exchange? Explain to them that you dont have any pagerank because you are a new site and are working hard to increase your partners, many should respond.

Also to get yourself going there is a list of directories that you can submit to (Anyone have that thread handy?)

Your code on your index page isnt to bad, just remember when you are writing your website write for the user, not the search engines "The Asian Trade Leads Hub, Your Business Directory Portal" I appologise if this is an ESL issue but it seems like you are trying to keyword stuff your header here, perhaps have it say "The Hub for Asian Trade Leads" or something to that effect. A well written website will be much better recieved then one that has poor grammar.
If you require help with your link exchange letter feel free to post it in the link popularity forum and we can make suggestions.

Btw here is a link to some directories to get you started http://www.seo-guy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=250

thousands of thank you I have to say. You guys are helping a lot. By the way, about the meta keyword tags, is that consider as spam too? even is just a few words that is repeating?

If you are going to use the meta keywords at all then just use your words that are in your title, having as many as you have is considered spamming, although noone really cares anymore as they arent counted anymore because of exactly the abuse you have on your site

but having only keywords that exist in title will be too short and not brief....
one thing i really like to know : is that meta keyword tags really help? how many SE crawlers are looking for it actually? other than those tags, what are other things that is also important to be considered of in SEO? thanks.

what aspect does google look for to achieve high PR? does it really look into the content? which one is more important? (content + meta tags) or (page link popularity)?

Why are you using redirect from aseansources to storefront? the redirected page has pr of 0 but aseansources has PR5 right now.

Yep it does. Been there...seen it happen within last couple months. Made a keyword metatag of a misspelling and that little bugger pulls people in off of MSN with it. I chuckle every time it happens. (And no, I didn't misspell the word on the site content...only occurrence is one time in the keyword metatag)

So I'm thinking that if there are no other matching pages with body text of the search term then at least MSN will match according to keywords. It's a minimal effect and essentially inconsequential. But a nice little disclaimer to the statement of "Keyword metatags don't matter."

thank you so much, eCommando, you reminded me that. Thanks. It's the page architecture problem. Some programming can solve that problem. Hope that solve my problem soon. Thanks anyway

You understand the theories ? Basically you get people to add Well written links to your site ( I've paid the price for this mine sucked so I had to write about 40 emails ) links with your main keywords in. In your keywords add circa 20, try and repeat these through your text but again dont make it too spammy. Use the keywords in <H1><H2> headings, a bit of bold and a bit of italic etc

Your title is very important and for the main metatag just have:

Description
Keywords
and any necessities i.e) meta http equiv and all that jaz

This is because the nearer your crucial text to the top the better.
Have a look through the site; read basically everything. Lets face it all I'm doing is just quoting stuff I've learnt from morgan n seo bob jocelyn etc

Good Luck

a PR 0 is rarely "real"

it usually just means the "real" PR is still coming. usually in the SERPs google already knows the real PR it's just not delivered to the toolbar
