an seo tool in php?

I don't really know much about php so this may not even be possible...but how hard would it be to make something like Shawns tool for checking your rank on each KW in Google except make it work for Yahoo & MSN too?

probably not all that tough. the hardest part is not getting the tool banned for automated queries.

seobook is right. You can make about 1000 queries per day and got banned. So you shoud use several tens of proxies.

Or you could sign up for a developer account which makes much more sense. Besides, some proxies forward your ip address.

What is that?

They give you an SDK ( Software Developer Kit ) that allows you to access the Google API. I'm sure there are limits on every account so you don't overstep yourself.

There's still a limit of 1000 queries on that and you would have the same problems as the other account.
